project summary

description

During this year’s European week of sports 20-29 September 2018, 42 young people from 6 European countries have met in Luxembourg city and spent 7 days of activities that changed their view on healthy living and the importance of sports within their daily lives.

The workshops of this project informed participants on a proper food diet, the essentials of workout and its importance within their daily lives. Each workshop contained a ‘do it yourself’ part where the participants engaged into physical activities such as: calisthenics, acrobatics-yoga, water aerobics, kayaking, European bowling and archery. Divided into international groups, the participants prepared a healthy meal for themselves.

During the week of activities, the international groups created and introduced new ways of workout that are both fun and challenging, specifically adopted to the needs of young Europeans. The project was concluded with a final event in the outdoor fitness park in Luxembourg city where the groups presented their unique workout routines.
